'Rihanna’s already conquered the world of music - so she’s moved onto to makeup! The singer is about to release her very own cosmetics collection - but fans aren’t that impressed. See, last week Rihanna released a little sneak peek of her Fenty Beauty Holographic lip color, that’s set to be released in April. The reaction was pretty rough… The teaser was posted on Fenty Beauty Cosmetic’s un-official Instagram page. Kinda confusing, but the color has been confirmed according to site. Anyway, the model was wearing a pale pink lip color. This holographic lip color is set to be the first product released under the long awaited makeup label Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, the Instagram post said. This product will be available to purchase at Sephora stores this fall. Fenty Beauty even shared a close up of the product! But fans were a tad bit confused by this holographic lip shade. Many Riri fans thought the product looked terrible on the model, and bashed the color in the comment section. This is garbage! One user wrote. Where are the shifting rainbows and glitter? Thats not holographic, that looks like some dried up pepto-bismol on her lips. Another said, Um, looks like really chapped lips. And another said, Looks a little clumpy. Poor application. Ok, so like we said, this account isn’t the OFFICIAL Fenty Beauty Cosmetics Instagram page - so it’s POSSIBLE that this lip color isn’t from Rihanna’s line - but is the damage done? Will Riri be a successful beauty mogul? The singer actually does have a pretty good track record with makeup… back in 2013, Rihanna collaborated with cosmetics giant, Mac for the Riri Hearts Mac collection. The makeup was, sparkly, metallic and even included a sultry red lipstick. The line received rave reviews from critics and fans and also became a best seller for Mac. Not to mention the 7 fragrances under her name. The singer also launched her very own Beauty agency called Frame back in 2015. - Riri is clearly a major player in the beauty world so launching her own cosmetics company seemed like a worthwhile step. And Rihanna’s been working HARD on the products too. She announced her new venture almost a year ago. Back in April of last year we first got word about Fenty Beauty Cosmetics with very little information. All the company’s cheif executive officer would say at the time is that quote, Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience.” Ok, pretty vague, but now back to that color?
