'I was so excited to visit The Netherlands and Amsterdam for the first time around the US Thanksgiving period in late November 2019.   I have always loved the idea of Stroopwafels, but the ones you get in the US, especially the packaged ones at grocery stores, never seemed that drool-worthy to me. So I couldn\'t wait to have the real thing in The Netherlands.   Poffertjes (Dutch style fluffy ball-like pancakes) and Gouda (pronounced correctly \'HOW-da\') cheese were also on top of my To-Eat list to try and enjoy on our Netherlands trip.   So was it all worth it?  Well, you have to watch to really find out but maybe my facial expressions throughout (even without the sound on) will give it all away! Plus for the Stroopwafel and Poffertjes, I got to try them at the world famous and festive Albert Cuyp Market, running since 1905 with some legendary vendors.
