'Well another winter season is over. This year was our tenth year feeding at this location. The response to the live cameras with sound was awesome. Next year, the plan will be to build new troughs and add another camera that points toward the snowmobile trail and road. We have had hundreds of viewers daily! We now have almost 21,500 followers on Facebook and over 7,600 subscribers on YouTube! We fed 114 days this year. The Pantry bought 21 ton of native oats from a farm in Lee, Maine. The cost of the oats was $5,880. We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations and support, which covered the cost of the oats and helped cover some of the operational costs to make all this possible. The deer certainly appreciate the donations and support as well! They now have a wonderful start to the rest of the year. We would like to give a special thanks to Mike Russell of ProTech Solutions and the chat moderators. We wouldn’t be able to do all the technology pieces without them. Brownville’s Food Pantry for Deer will be open again December 16, 2019. We look forward to sharing our eleventh feeding season with you. Donations are welcome!
