'#CoffeeShopInBaguioCity #FattoomisFoodTrip #WhereToGoInBaguioCity  The restaurant, which opened in 1987, started as a dare, to build a café over the ruins of a World War II building originally owned by the first governor of the region Phelps Whitmarsh and his Ibaloi wife. This is the original branch of Café by the ruins that was hit by the fire last April 30, 2017. The “ruins” in its name is inspired from the previous city’s garden theatre’s ruins which stood where the Café is located today. This famous café which is known for their fresh meals from the Baguio City Market maintained their signature facade. Their interiors though were revamped.
