'When the keeper tastes better than your food'

'While Maria was busy getting her food from the bottle, Joao decided to look for some ants on my face. These five-month-old baby giant anteaters are residents of Criadouro Onca Pintada, Brazil. They are both orphans. One was found near the dead body of its mom, the other in areas where there had been fires. Its mom probably died or escaped. The babies were brought to Criadouro Onca Pintada in the middle of July, where they got professional care. I was taking care of them while I was volunteering in this rescue centre. I fed them three times a day with a pap made of bananas, carrots, papaya, beetroot, milk, powdered milk, cream, Pedigree (dog food),  special tamandua pellets, vitamins, and honey. Anteaters ARE NOT pets! Podczas wolontariatu w ośrodku Criadouro Onca Pintada w Brazylii opiekowałam się dwoma osieroconymi i uratowanymi mrówkojadami wielkimi Marią i Joao. Kiedy któregoś dnia przyszłam je nakarmić, Maria ślicznie piła z butelki specjalnie przygotowany dla nich koktajl, tymczasem Joao postanowił poszukać mrówek na mojej twarzy ;) “To use this video in a commercial player or in broadcasts, please email [email protected].”'
