'Hi Guys, today I’ll show you How to Make Pie Dough in this Cuisinart 8 Cup Food Processor. LINK to Food Processor: https://amzn.to/2JtKMio FULL REVIEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyIK-2Lpleo LINK to 14 Cup Food Processor: http://amzn.to/2jj7ewE LINK to 14 Cup REVIEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZBn_ZMHLMU I did a full review of this unit and if you want to see that, I’ll put a link below in the description section. According to the manual, the maximum amount of all purpose flour that can be put in the bowl is 2.5 cups. I put 2.5 cups of flour and 16 oz of butter. The bowl was full just up to the max 5 cup line so the processor should be able to make this quantity of pie dough. I have reviewed the 7 cup, 9 and 14 cup Cuisinart food processors and none of them spit out even a tiny bit of flour. Either this lid is defective or is poorly designed. The unit did make the pie dough so it can handle making dough. Maybe it wouldn’t have spit out the flour, if the bowl was half full. But I shouldn’t have to cut my recipe in half and make dough twice for a pie in an 8 cup food processor. If you make a lot of pies and pizza dough etc., I would get a larger model. My favorite is the 14 cup which I use regularly. It’s well designed, solid and works great. I’ll put a link below to that review if you want to watch it. As always, I hope you found this video helpful. If you did, give it a thumbs up and subscribe for more reviews of products you use every day. Thanks for watching!'
