'Hot salt frying and hot sand frying are cooking techniques used by street-side food vendors in  India. Hot sand frying is an old cooking technique, and is used in villages throughout Asia and other parts of the world. Many foods are fried with hot salt or sand, even in common households. Firstly add salt in a pan and pre heat for 1 minute. Once salt gets heated, add fryums and fry by stiring in salt. Once fryums are fried remove them using jolly spoon. Panipuri or Phuchka is a type of snack that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It consists of a round or ball-shaped, hollow puri, filled with a mixture of flavored water, tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion or chickpeas.'
