Recipe Is Below: BEST BATTER FOR DEEP FRYING 1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup cornstarch 1 cold cup water 2 eggs 1 tablespoon baking powder (brands include Fleishman\'s brand and the Magic brand) 12 ice cubes In a large bowl, add 1/2 cup cornstarch and 1/2 cup flour. Add 1/2 cup cold water and mix all the ingredients with chopsticks or a fork. Add the final 1/2 cup of water and continue to mix batter. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Gradually add the last 1/2 cup of flour to mix into batter. It\'s o.k. to leave batter slightly lumpy. When you are ready to deep fry, add 1 tablespoon of baking powder and mix in. Add 12 ice cubes into the batter. When deep frying, make sure oil is hot. Throw a piece of batter into the oil and see if it rises to the top. It should be crispy and not oily. In this video we deep fry chicken gizzards, strips of red pepper and mushrooms. Deep fry in small batches. Turn items over to get even cooking. Remove items on to paper towels, to absorb the oil from deep frying. Take out any loose batter with a spatula and spatula.
