'Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus 11-Cup food processor (model: DLC-2011CHBY, more info: http://amzn.to/1L6DjVY) versus the Vitamix 5300 ( http://amzn.to/2lTrV4x ) blender. In this video I make a simple hummus in order to test out the two products. Verdict: Both do well, but the food processor is made for this sort of blending (loo liquid, not a lot of actual food being blended) while the blender is better at dealing with lots of food and/or a lot of liquid. The Vitamix created a lot of air bubbles which prevents the blending from progressing where this is never an issue for the food processor.
