'What does the law say? (Module 2) | FSSAI  Previously there we multiple laws relating to food which often created confusions. In order to establish a uniformed and science based system, the multi-sectoral structure was brought down to a point of contact with the implementation of FSSA 2006. Module 2 gives a brief understanding of the Food safety and Standards act 2006 and thereby the regulations laid down for a food catering establishment. It also covers the initiatives of FSSAI related to food catering establishment.
